Porsche Panamera Receives Increase of 40 HP

Porsche has announced several new additions to what they are calling their "individualization program" for the new Panamera sedan.

The Powerkit, which ranges around $21,000 for the Panamera Turbo, features two new turbochargers (with titanium / aluminum turbine wheels) and a revised ECU. These modifications enable the 4.8-liter V8 to produce 532 bhp and 553 lb-ft of torque - an increase of 39 bhp and 37 lb-ft of torque.

Thanks to the extra power, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 190 mph.

Porsche Panamera Hybrid for 2011

Porsche has announced it will have a hybrid version of the Panamera luxury sedan for sale by 2011, alongside its previously announced Cayenne S Hybrid.

The Panamera S Hybrid will add to the already powerful reputation for the all new Panamera. It will feature the same drivetrain as the Cayenne S Hybrid - a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 with 333 PS coupled to a 34 kW electric motor for a total of 380 PS (280 kW).

Porsche Builds 25000th Panamera

Porsche's Panamera four door sedan has only been available to customers throughout the United States for less than one year, and it is already one of the fastest selling Porsche vehicles to date. Today, the German luxury auto maker announced that they have competed construction of their 25,000th Panamera model.

The 25,000th Panamera has rolled off Porsche's assembly line in Leipzig, Germany.

The car, a ruby red colored Panamera, will be delivered to a customer here in the United States. It features a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.

Porsche 918 Supercar for Only $645,899

If you've got over $600,000 to spend on an all new Porsche Supercar, we've got one for you. It's been reported by Bloomberg News that the Porsche 918 Spyder will be the automaker's most expensive vehicle. 

The German luxury car company plans to sell the ride at ?500,000 or approximately $645,899 USD.

This is ?47,000 higher than the Porsche Carrera GT, produced from 2003 to 2006, the auto maker's previous 'most lavish' automobile.

Porsche Cayman Clubsport in the Works

If the Porsche Cayman Clubsport, now only in a design concept phase, does make its way to dealerships, the company will likely increase power by 6.7 to 10 percent.

With the Cayman already providing 300 horsepower, the Clubsport version's six-cylinder 3.4-liter engine could deliver 320 to 330 horsepower, according to ZerCustoms.

Cayman Clubsport is set to be a higher horsepower variant of the current 2010 - 2011 Porsche Cayman; which is already one of the best quality luxury sportscars on the market today.
