Porsche enthusiasts most likely have already heard about the luxury automaker's latest work-in-progress: The Macan. Contrary to what some might expect, Porsche is developing the 2014 Porsche Macan to be a five-door CUV with the ultimate potential for a three-door coupe sibling as well.

Giving industry experts and Porsche followers something to chew on, spy photographers have released a set of initial images of the new Macan in action.
